IPv4 for GPU clouds and AI platforms
Lately a good share of our inbox is GPU clouds and inference platforms. Most of them ask for a /22 or a /21 in ARIN or RIPE. We lease space in those sizes, check its reputation before you see it, and prepare the ROA, route object and LOA for whoever will announce it.
What GPU clouds ask us about
These come up on nearly every call.
Reputation
If your inference API sits on a listed range, some of your own customers' firewalls will drop the traffic. We scan every block before offering it. After that the scans keep running and you can see them in the portal.
Geolocation
Sovereign AI deals and data-residency clauses can hinge on where a database thinks an IP is. We publish an RFC 8805 geofeed for your blocks. When MaxMind, IPinfo, IP2Location or DB-IP has it wrong, we file the correction and keep checking until it's fixed.
ROAs and route objects
We create the RPKI ROA and the IRR route object for your origin ASN, and write the LOA your upstream or cloud provider will ask for. Fresh prefixes that don't propagate are usually missing one of these.
The next block
Most teams want to know what happens when they need another /22. Tell us your 12-month plan when you first get in touch. Adjacent space isn't guaranteed. When inventory allows, we try to hold it for you.
API
Your provisioning code can search inventory, put a block on hold and order it through our API. You create keys in the app. The API reference is public.
Lease instead of buy
A /21 bought outright is a lot of money that will never run a model. You can lease on a 12, 24 or 36 month term, or month to month, and spend the difference on hardware. Lease or buy?
How a lease works
Send the form
Registry, size, where the hardware is and how you'll announce it. It takes a few minutes.
We find a block
A broker replies with space that fits. For standard sizes you can also search and hold a block yourself in the app.
Sign
You accept the Work Order online. The first time, we also verify the company (KYB).
Announce
Announce it from your own ASN or through a cloud BYOIP program. The block then appears in your portal with its routing and reputation status.
Deploying in the Netherlands?
Prefixx belongs to the same holding company as Netrouting, Data Facilities and LayerSwitch. If your GPUs are going into a Dutch data center, we can introduce you to the network and colocation side as well.
BYOIP and BYOASN are included with dedicated and bare-metal servers, so you can announce Prefixx space there under your own ASN.
Colocation for your own hardware. If you need power and floor space for GPU racks, ask and we'll connect you.
Exchange ports and a cloud fabric, for peering and direct connections to the big clouds.
Tell us about the deployment.
One of our brokers will reply, normally within a business day.
