1. Scope
This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar technologies (including browser local storage) used on the website at prefixx.net and in the client application at prefixx.app, both operated by Prefixx, Inc. ("Prefixx"). It forms part of the Privacy Policy.
2. The cookie choice
2.1 On a visitor's first visit to prefixx.net, a banner offers two choices of equal prominence: "Necessary only" and "Accept all." Strictly necessary cookies are always active. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after the visitor selects "Accept all."
2.2 The choice is kept for twelve months. It can be changed at any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
2.3 The choice is recorded together with the version of the cookie notice in force when it was made. When Prefixx changes the cookie notice, a choice made under an earlier version no longer applies: the banner is shown again, and analytics and advertising cookies are not set until the visitor chooses again.
2.4 Prefixx keeps a record of each choice, consisting of a random identifier held in the visitor's browser, the choice made, the version of the banner, the page on which the choice was made and the time. The record does not include the visitor's IP address. Consent records are kept for five years from the date of the choice and are then deleted.

Cloudflare, Inc. provides content delivery and security for prefixx.net and prefixx.app. Cloudflare Turnstile verifies that a form is submitted by a person and does not set a tracking cookie. Prefixx has not enabled Cloudflare features that set cookies on a visitor's device. Where Cloudflare's security services present a challenge to a visitor, Cloudflare may set the strictly necessary cookies __cf_bm (30 minutes) and cf_clearance (30 minutes), which serve only to distinguish persons from automated traffic.
4. Live chat
The live chat on prefixx.net is operated by Prefixx. It stores a conversation token in browser local storage under the key pfx_chat_prefixx, together with entries recording when the token was issued and the visitor's preferences for the chat window. The token is discarded after 24 hours. Chat messages are processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Analytics and advertising
5.1 prefixx.net uses Google Tag Manager, provided by Google LLC, with Google Consent Mode. Until the visitor selects "Accept all," the consent signals for analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization are set to "denied." In that state, Google tags do not set or read analytics or advertising cookies, and Google receives only signals that contain no cookie identifiers.

The Google Tag Manager container for prefixx.net contains Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tags only.
5.3 No other third-party scripts are configured on prefixx.net. A script of another third party that is added later loads only after the visitor selects "Accept all," and Prefixx shall amend this Cookie Policy to list it before it is added.
5.4 When a contact form is submitted successfully, prefixx.net reports a conversion event to Google Tag Manager. That event is subject to the visitor's cookie choice as described in this Section.
6. The client application
The client application at prefixx.app sets no cookies and loads no analytics or advertising technology. It stores the following in the browser:

7. Changes
