Why a broker gives these away
We built all six for internal use. A block gets checked several ways before we will put it in front of a buyer, and these pages are those checks with a front end bolted on.
The registry record has to be clean, and more importantly it has to be transferable, which is a different question and the one that sinks deals. Somebody has to be announcing the space, and it has to be somebody entitled to. The announcement needs to validate. And the blocklists tend to have opinions about whoever held the addresses last.
Fail any of that and we do not list it.
There is nothing confidential in any of it, so a login would be pure friction. Where one of these pages deliberately shows you less than our portal does, it says so on the page. The geolocation tools are the obvious case. Anyone can tell you what one provider thinks. The useful fact is that four of them disagree with each other.
What the portal adds
Everything here answers one question, about one address, on one day.
The portal watches ranges over time instead. Blocklist scans on a schedule with a trend line per range. RPKI and route-object monitoring that warns you a ROA is about to expire, rather than after your customers notice. Four geolocation providers compared side by side, with corrections chased until they agree. Reverse DNS you control yourself. Abuse mail parsed into a queue somebody actually reads.
